IPI by Bison has been involved with The Lincoln Sports Foundation’s Kinetic Sports Complex since the schematic design stage and worked with the dealer to release equipment in a timely manner to meet the compressed deadline of the contractor and finish the project by the requested dates.
The project, installed by the Sport Construction Midwest team, includes:
- 16 side-folding basketball backstops (IP1345SF) on four main courts and 12 practice courts that include BA980RS height adjusters
- 8 gym divider curtains for games or practice set-ups
- 12 volleyball systems (VB1000) on four main courts and eight practice courts
- Wall padding at the end of the courts as well as padded columns
In addition to an impressive number of indoor courts, the facility plans include indoor soccer, outdoor soccer, a baseball/softball complex, a motocross track, a championship field, a recreation center, and a full concessions area.
The mission of the Lincoln Sports Foundation is to own and operate a sports complex that will be a service to the community. They partner with quality organizations that focus on developing, mentoring, and training student athletes and their families by providing high quality and caring coaching that enables them to reach their full potential both as athletes and as members of the community.
