FIBA, the international governing body for basketball, recently approved multiple wall mounted and ceiling suspended basketball structures for inclusion in the IPI by Bison/FIBA licensing agreement.
This allows international customers, who require FIBA approved systems in their facilities, to use IPI as their source.
This is a huge development in IPI’s ability to expand in the international market to compete with other U.S. and international brands.
“The addition of FIBA approval to our line of products adds another layer of legitimacy to the IPI by Bison brand,” said Nik Ditzler, Director Specified Products Group. “Our products are built with quality and performance in mind.”

“This adds credibility to our claim of being an international force in the international basketball equipment market,” he said.
Even in the United States, facilities that anticipate hosting FIBA sanction international competitions, whether it’s the Olympics or other FIBA sanctioned tournaments, need FIBA approved equipment.
As part of this agreement, there are also FIBA Level 1 and 2 portable units available from IPI when portables are the right fit for your facilities.
